The sun was setting and my already crazy day only had a few minutes of daylight left.
A fading sun illuminating a simple panel of vintage glass presented itself as I passed by. The texture of the individual glass panes within the graphic structure of the frames drew me to a composition that felt pleasing.
It took a few captures to settle on something that represented the tone and texture I was seeing without a camera. Narrowing down the larger scene into something that would fit within the camera frame became the larger challenge.
The muted backlight giving me just the texture I was looking for.
