Playing the Game presents challenges beyond the obvious on occasion. Your play can fall when you have to work all day. Went you are sick. Sometimes when you are just not in the mood to be creative. There can also be the technological challenges as well.

My play today finds me in a remote bay deep in SE Alaska on a boat making a 1200 mile trip down the Inside Passage from Sitka, AK to Olympia, WA. Struggling to get a cell signal to connect to the Game website was my first concern. Viewing my photographic options of what to play was my next. With not a structure of any type as far as I can see the pickings were slim at best. It’s only beautiful until it’s not what you need. Then it’s just frustration.

In the end, technology won the coin toss as it took me almost 45 mins just to load an image I already had from a earlier effort. Reminded me of the days of dial-up waiting for the smallest of images to load.

Not my first choice by any means, but a play none the less. I’m just happy I was able to make a contribution to this wonderful project we are on. As they say. The show must go on.
