Tack

Tack comes in lots of configurations and an entire room of it can be overwhelming. Piece upon piece seemingly hung in random order around the walls of a barn on wooden pegs. That’s how I have most often have seen it and this was no exception. Sometimes I wish you could attach smell to a picture.  Bits of old worn leather, hay, and manure with the chill and mustiness of a barn shed during an Idaho winter.  What little light there is casting deep black shadows.

It has to be simple today as the light falls behind a distant hill. The evening chill is settling in and its time to find a warm comfortable place to relax after a long day.
