Color Wheels

Dragging the shutter is not something I normally play around with, but today in a low light situation inside a coffee shop here in SE Asia it seemed like the perfect time.

The compulsion to always have a point of focus somewhere in the picture pretty much drives every image I take. It’s rare for me to experiment with an image where clearly nothing is in focus.   Using color and shape here while bringing a slight motion to the camera and shutter adds texture and drama to an otherwise static still life.
