Flower version 6

The gauntlet has been throw down.

To shoot a flower that is not something you might normally see.
This at the outset pushed me to find a flower in a less than normal state which was surprisingly easy considering we are surrounded with fresh and vibrant flora in every market.

Back inside my tabletop skills are a little rusty, but I find the light to my liking and several captures later I close in on an inspiration that matches what initially drew me this direction.
In post the color grade became the bigger element. I have switched recently to another postproduction software and it is where I spent most my time. A hint of sepia tone to compliment the original color tone and my work is done.

Does it pass the test for something different? The viewer in this case is the best judge of that.
