Rounds

Repeating patterns and shapes are always a visual weak spot for me. It’s really the first thing that catches my eye in most scenes, driving the narrative and pushing me to look at cropping as the means of forcing the viewer’s eye to the areas I find most interesting.

Here, railroad wheels are stacked waiting reconditioning at a plant near my home. A yard full of the same shapes presented in different configurations, quite randomly, for my visual enjoyment.
