Boat Shack

From across the bay, it appeared solid red. The building behind is nearly obscured by the shape. As I approached in my small dingy the solid form became hundreds of individual fishing floats used to keep the nets at water level. Strung efficiently and hung outside the fishing shack ready for the next day’s work.

With a high tide, my shooting process was from nearly under the floats to wide shots showing the entire scene. What is shown here is that middle ground capturing the ripple in the water from my trusty ride here in the evening waters of British Columbia.
