Still wandering in Alaska this week and options for photography are limited and expansive all at the same time.<\/p>\n

I have always loved to spend time in the wilderness, but don\u2019t find myself with much aptitude for traditional
\nlandscapes. Many times I feel like the scene before me is never well represented in the photographs I end up bringing home. <\/p>\n

I\u2019m sure there are elements in the capture I\u2019m missing. Or perhaps my eye always ends up wandering to other compositions. Finding smaller vignettes within a larger space suits my style and sensibility more. Bypassing the large spaces for the delicate and intimate textures found close up.<\/p>\n

It all represents the power of nature and the continual draw to return again and again. In this wonderland there is always something behind every tree.<\/p>\n
