Shadows on a morning walk along the CA coast.

The flag’s shadow first caught my eye as it danced along the concrete entrance to the breakwater. The angle of the sun and this particular flag pole perfectly recording every buff of wind creating a shadowy interplay between wind and structure.

I had planned to search the length of this narrow stone finger sticking from the California coastline, I never made it past this shadow as it responded to the early morning breeze that developed just as the sun begins to warm the land.

Waiting till the flag reached just the right silhouette coincided with another early morning explorer. A single figure added here to complete a story of morning walks along a spectacular shoreline.
