Fish On

The atmospheric river sweeping California pushed me outside off the boat for a quick walk around town. Relentless rain and wind is the theme of the day and it finally drove me back inside to a friend’s bar, the Riviera, just off State street to catch a dry moment and something warm to drink.

The stuffed sailfish had adorned his previous restaurant for 40 years and made the move to its new home when he opened this place earlier this year. It was a welcome sight as I enter from the downpour outside feeling part fish and soggy human.
