Nhãn Lồng, which translates to “Dragon’s Eye,” is a popular fruit here in Vietnam. Known as longan in the West, it originates from Asia and shares a similar taste with lychee, belonging to the same family of fruit trees.
Earlier today, a small plate on a windowsill in Hue City caught my eye. During a free moment at lunch, I returned to explore this single subject in the soft afternoon light.
