Thanksgiving, a day for gratitude, finds me feeling especially fortunate to have a platform where the photography I’ve created, and will create, can reach others who share an interest in this medium. While a broad audience is always appreciated, the group of nine for whom this work is primarily intended remains the true sweet spot I care most about.

Part imagery, part writing, and always in consideration of a creative twist to the game, this process feels like a three-dimensional chess match. Knowing that nine trained eyes — each with a finely honed sense of the craft shaped by a lifetime in photography — will sit in review only makes the exercise that much more meaningful.

To that group, I’m especially thankful today. And for a solid folder of options on a day when my play lands on a holiday.
