Still Alive in Bali

Still alive here in Bali….

It has been awhile since the last update of our adventures here in Bali….I’m finally finding my footing to write again and wanted to fire the blog back up after a rocky start upon my return last month.

With the passing of my Mom the day I returned to Bali and then a banking error that almost brought me to my knees… the distance from the US to here has never seemed greater. I have flown the trip from Seattle to Bali three times now. The miles seem the most painful not when your on the plane sitting for 21 hours….but when something goes wrong at home.

Thankfully, I have great brothers and sisters, a capable and loyal daughter, and a Bali cellphone that lets me call home and talk as long as I need.

We have seen lots of changes here over the last couple months.  Some dreams realized and others totally lost.  Lots of good, some bad, and even a little bit of ugly to round out the experience.

I’ll leave you with that for now and invite you to return again. We have some fun stories to tell and I’m looking forward to sharing them with you.
