In the Weeds

On my knees. At sunset. The only place to get a detailed point of view sometimes is down low. Really low. Sometimes when I get this low I actually get on my belly. And at the end of the day, especially today, I’ll just lay there for a while and enjoy life from a ground-level perspective. Such was the case on this warm afternoon in February.

As I lay there awhile I eventually rolled over to find this little gem with the last of the fading sun sinking fast into the ground. Inspiration today was anything close up and within the limit of my focal length and of course my outstretched torso attached to a camera laying in the weeds.
