Finally made the deal on a new home for the next year here in Bali. Put down the deposit after several rounds of conversations with our new landlord Mada Putra.  The photo above is the street that leads up to our place and is the small gathering intersection in our new home in Penestanan.The red flags are for independence day which arrives on Wednesday of next week. 

We will head up to the house later today and post some pictures of the place and surrounding neighborhood.  Next weekend is our move in date. Since the house is a walk in through the rice fields we will have to carry everything in about 5 min.  A little like a NYC walk-up…. but this is a walk-in…Indo style
