The annual Parade of Lights is a holiday tradition here in Santa Barbara. With the promise of fabulous prizes and bragging rights for the remainder of the year, local boats of all sizes head out just after sunset to kick off the holidays here in the harbor.

We were not actually on a boat decorated for the event, but instead out early enough to catch the sunset and the parade of boats later that evening. A great start to the coming new year and the seasonal change ahead.
