Minus Tide

As record temperatures dominate the weekend here in Southern California a minus tide near sunset brings not only me to the beach. With the correct tides, this particular beach opens to reveal a 15-mile round trip walk if you are inclined.

My time on days like this is a combination of walking and relaxing enjoying the passers-by or the solitude you can find on the less-traveled sections. The only worry on a day like this is making sure you have a path off the beach before the tide returns reclaiming the beach until another day.
