From a location I had found several weeks ago, the chance to revisit this morning was just what I needed.

Over the years I have discovered that Boy Scout Camps around the the US have some to the most beautiful and untapped locations for commercial projects. With abundant land and a willing organization, they have allowed me to shoot on their properties across the US many times over the years. I think in total I have worked at seven different scout camps in as many states.

The opportunity to revisit today was from a project this summer. I knew what was there, but was hoping for a bit more than the commercial work we had done there in August.

The end of the summer rows of canoes and rowboats stacked neatly awaiting next year’s scouts were the perfect inspiration.

The Boy Scout motto “ Be Prepared” was just what I was today.
